This series is designed to be a course text for an Introduction to New Testament class at an undergrad level. The typography, imagery, and feel all needed to cohesively say "I am respectable, academic, and trustworthy" and I think that this design really provides that solution.

An interesting design challenge that came with the design was finding the proper hierarchy between all 3 (yes, 3!) titles. Discovering the New Testament is the title, An Introduction to Its Background, Theology, and Themes is the subhead, and The Gospels + Acts is the volume name. I struggled with a lot of different options until landing on this tab/bookmark element you can see on the page.
