Lies Pastors Believe

In this book, the author names a number of commonly believed lies that new pastors can fall for and addresses them in a very loving and gracious tone. For this cover I wanted to show the concept by literally crossing out those lies, and I dropped the subtitle in those lines: 7 Ways to Elevate Yourself, Subvert the Gospel, and Undermine the Church.

Below you can see the progression of the cover from early (eventually scrapped) concept and its iterations. It didn't make it through the approval process, but I still love the idea.
