This series was a partnership with the Open the Bible organization, led by Pastor Colin S. Smith. The concept of each was to help people understand the major concepts of the Bible in three different “paces”, or level of granularity. So the “Fly Through the Bible” version is shorter, more like a handbook, and hits major themes, whereas the “Drive” and “Hike” versions sink deeper into those concepts and spend more time going through them in detail.

Early concepts used illustrations and national parks-like poster styling, but in the end the best fit was using the established brand photos from Open the Bible, along with establishing some series elements. There is texturing on the title bands that correspond to the travel type, as well as coloring to go with each individual title.
